When I recently relocated back to the ranch, I had previously viewed the world from binoculars the way anyone holds them. Getting the joy of a close-up and focused look.
After arriving at the cattle guard at the entry to the ranch, I stopped and realized that I am now seeing through the opposite side of the binoculars. Through my life, everything seemed close-up. Challenges or life events seemed easy to see at times and only needed a focus or adjustment by me.
Life changes things. Now, things are out of my grasp at times, out of focus, and they seem so far away. I cannot see everything close up and clear. It is hard viewing life from a distance, but I now realize it was not always right to be viewing it up close. A healthy view in general is what is important.
